Sites around Isoka, Zambia

This is Isoka's one and only grocery store; a recent and great addition for the community.  Though not large, it has a few surprising items that were once only available to our Kimbroughs from Lusaka.

Outdoor market is just outside the door of Jupter Rite and stays very busy selling local fruits and vegetables.

Mealie meal is the main staple for Zambians.

Very large palm trees throughout the area.

This beautiful purple blossomed tree is called a Jacaranda.

The is the customary way to "mow" your lawn.  We had the water hose handy in case the neighbor's "mowing" came into the Kimbroughs' yard!

Kimbrough Gardens

Isoka, where our Kimbroughs are serving as church planters, is located in the beautiful mountains of northern Zambia, close to the Tanzania border.  Adding to the beauty of the area are the fabulous gardens all around the Kimbrough house...even in the "winter" month of August.  Thank you, Lord, for the awesome plants and flowers you scattered throughout Your world!  Genesis 1:11
